How do you create a DSO formula in Lucanet?

You can easily set up formulas in Lucanet to gain more insight into your numbers. Most Lucanet users already use formulas for net margin % and other KPIs. But did you know that it is also quite easy to set up a formula for a DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) calculation?

What do you need for this?

  • Your trade receivables
  • Turnover measured over a specific period (for example the past 3 or 12 months)
  • The number of days in the selected period

This video explains how to create the DSO formula.

Of course, you can also use this methodology to create a DPO (Days Payable Outstanding) or DIO (Days Inventory Outstanding).
